When I went looking for material to teach Christianity at the academic level IB actually wants — the sociological, how-does-a-tradition-change-under-pressure level, not the "here are the sacraments" level — I found two kinds of resources. Devotional material written for a congregation, not a classroom. Or the opposite: dry timelines of councils and creeds with no analytical frame at all. Nothing treated Vatican II or the Protestant response to Darwin as an actual case study in how institutions handle change, which is the exact question the IB curriculum is built around.
